we had our first trainers' meeting for this year last tuesday. it started with pizza-kentucky dinner and boss 'long winded' speech. luckily theres pizza in front of me to stay awake. i guess i would have dozed off with my eyes opened. aikss...
then comes the hr manager's speech and the 'all-i-want-profile's speech (sshhh not telling who!) from the way i see it, they did NOT prepare any agenda for this meeting. she kept on repeating her points and kept interrupted by 'the most infamous associate-now half-full time trainer' haikss.... confusing isn't it.
yep! this is one confused company that wants to do a lot of things. they like to use sophisticated jargon just to describe simple definition. like associate trainer, residential trainer, deputy business developer. phffftt
it sounds delicious but its just icing. associate - refers to freelancer and residential - refers full-time attached in school. Whatever!!
anyway, i met new employees, heh! nothing new here. i always see new faces everytime i come for a meeting, training or events. i wonder how many more faces i'm going to meet this year. heh.. some have become my 'kakis'.
after the meeting, we clean-up and packed some food. all head to taxi stand. it is sure a wrong day to wait for taxi. for 15 mins, there isnt ANY taxi in sight. pfftt. it just struck me about the thaipusam day which falls on that tuesday, 25 jan. all my collg had left and leaving me alone, trying to call for a cab. finally, after nearly 40 mins of waiting, a cab stopped and i quickly hopped in back to woodlands. luckily this is just going to be once a month occasion. in 4 weeks time, i will have to make a trip from my school which is just 10 mins away from my house, to town area which is 1hr journey. heh...home looks so near yet so far.
